It's been a good year for me when it comes to finding novels I enjoyed reading. It seems that every paperback pulled off the shelf or given to me as a gift has been appreciated. Usually, when my adult kids ask me what I want for my birthday or Christmas, I have a hard time coming up with ideas. I'm fortunate enough to already have everything I could ever desire. However, I now trust my son and daughter to pick out books for me, because they do a better job than I ever could, so the answer to that question is easy: I'd like a novel to read.
Normally, I write reviews of books that blew me away right after I finish reading them, however too much time passed, so I'm at a loss for summarizing each book and commenting on it.
